Sara Grootwassink Lewis

Sara Grootwassink Lewis founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Lewis Corporate Advisors, a board and capital markets advisory firm (from 2009 to 2018). She previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (from 2002 to 2009) and Managing Director, Finance and Capital Markets (from 2001 to 2002) of Elme Communities (NYSE: ELME) (formerly known as Washington Real Estate Investment Trust Company (NYSE: WRE)). Prior to that, Ms. Grootwassink Lewis served as Vice President, Finance and Investor Relations at Corporate Office Properties Trust (NYSE: OFC) from 1999 to 2001. She has served on the boards of Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY) since 2016 and Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX) since 2021. Ms. Grootwassink Lewis previously served on the boards of Sun Life Financial, Inc. (NYSE: SLF), Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (formerly Nasdaq: ADMS), Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc. (formerly NYSE: PCL), PS Business Parks, Inc. (formerly NYSE: PSB), and CapitalSource, Inc. (formerly NYSE: CSE). She is a National Association of Corporate Directors Board Leadership Fellow, a member of the Board of Trustees of The Brookings Institution, and a member of the Leadership Board and Governance Working Group of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness. Ms. Grootwassink Lewis was also a former member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board Standing Advisory Group. She is a certified public accountant and chartered financial analyst.
