Katherine M. Sandstrom
Chair of the Board, Healthpeak Properties, Inc.; Former Senior Managing Director, Heitman LLC
Ms. Sandstrom became Chair of the Board of Healthpeak Properties, Inc. in April 2023 and previously served as Vice Chair of the Board from April 2022 until April 2023. She served as an Advisor from July 2018 to March 2019 and Senior Managing Director and global head of Heitman LLC’s Public Real Estate Securities business from 2013 to 2018. Since joining Heitman in 1996, Ms. Sandstrom held several senior leadership positions across multiple facets of the institutional real estate investment industry. Additionally, she served on the firm’s Global Management Committee, the Board of Managers and the Allocation Committee. Ms. Sandstrom serves on the Boards of the following companies: Toll Brothers, Inc. (NYSE: TOL), since December 2023, Urban Edge Properties (NYSE: UE), a REIT, since October 2022, and EastGroup Properties, Inc. (NYSE: EGP), a REIT, since July 2020. She is also a certified public accountant.
